- Commission per round trip - Cost of entering and exiting a position, depends on the broker.
- Risk per trade in $ - Baseline risk per trade in dollars.
- Risk Buffer (%) - If Risk per trade in $ is $100, and Risk Buffer is 10%, then the trades that would have a risk of more than $110 or less than $90 will not be taken.
- Maximum contracts per trade - Maximum number of contracts that can be used. Useful setting for prop firms.
- Commission cost per trade in % - Commission cost per trade in percentage of the risk per trade. For example, if risk is $100 and we are using 4 contracts of micro emini,
to execute the trade with those 4 contracts we have to pay $4.08 ($1.02 multiplied by 4 contracts). This would give us 4.08% commission cost for this trade.
- Draw R levels - Risk multiple levels based on entry and initial risk drawn with fibonacci extension while in a trade.
- Stop limit orders for entries - Stop limit orders instead of Stop market. If experiencing a lot of slippage during entry.
- Signal bar offset - With setting set to 1 the signal bar is last complete bar and with setting 0 the signal bar will be the most recent bar.
Signal bar size is used for stop loss and take profit calculations.
- Tp multiple - Also called risk:reward ratio. For example, 2 will place the take profit order at two times the risk.
- Delimiter - Delimiter for formatting of the journal file, different regions use different delimiters.
- File path - Destination for journal files and screenshots. If using a hard drive where the system is installed, you might need to start NinjaTrader as
administrator for this feature to work. Another option is using a different drive or partition.
